Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence: Harsa Beagley’s Journey at Colart
This week I'm really pleased to celebrate a remarkable milestone for Harsa at Colart — a quarter-century of dedication, growth, and excellence.
Harsa started her journey at Colart in 2000 as an HR Officer at the Wealdstone factory, bringing a solid background in consumer goods and recruitment. From the outset, Harsa made an immediate impact, tackling the unique challenges of a manufacturing environment with remarkable tenacity, skill, and growing confidence.
In a role that had previously seen high turnover, Harsa’s ability to adapt, respond, and deliver set her apart. She not only met the demands of her position but exceeded them, consistently increasing her line management responsibilities and broadening her area of influence.
Harsa is known for her humble yet impactful approach. Her empathy, diligence, commitment, and ultimate sense of accountability are just a few attributes that make her an invaluable team member. Her work ethic and integrity have been the cornerstone of her successful career and have been instrumental in shaping our workplace culture.
I have personally enjoyed every day of our 25-year journey together and couldn’t think of a better colleague to share this path with. More recently, Harsa has expanded her skill set to include becoming a trained coach, further embedding the ongoing value she brings to the global HR team and enhancing her ability to support and develop others.

Thank you all for your kind messages — they really mean so much to me. It’s hard to believe that today marks 25 years; it feels like it’s flown by in the blink of an eye.
People often ask me what’s kept me here for so long. My answer is always the same: the privilege of working with such amazing heritage brands, opportunities to grow and be challenged (with Jane always being my champion 😊), the flexibility to be a working mum, and most importantly, the incredible people I’ve had the privilege of working with.
It’s been a hell of a ride — thank you for being part of it.

I think it’s all been said here already, but Harsa, you are absolutely the best! As a HR leader you experience the full spectrum of highs, lows, and everything in-between that a business goes through, but despite all the challenges, probably the biggest thing I adore about you (and there are many, many things) is that I always still see you as the wonderful person that you are, and that you are so relatable, alongside being resilient. Essentially, you keep it real, and someone being authentic is basically my love language! I look up to and admire you so much. Thank you for everything, and please take a moment to reflect on how much you have achieved and how many people you have helped throughout your 25-year strong career at Colart, myself and my team included ❤️
