Colart Spain is happy to introduce Antonio Segura Donat, better known as DULK.
DULK is a multidisciplinary artist who finds a lifestyle in his work. He works urban art, drawing, painting and sculpture with a “pop-surrealist” style and for him every medium is a challenge he faces with pleasure and determination.
DULK loves Liquitex
DULK discovered Liquitex a few years ago and since then he has not used other materials again, he highlights both the quality of the paint and its finish. With Liquitex materials he manages to achieve incredible textures very quickly and work much more comfortably in the atmosphere of the work, an aspect of special importance for him.
His favourite materials are Heavy body and the Liquitex glazing medium.

His naturalistic world show us a tragicomic and surreal thematic landscape full of details, sometimes real sometimes fiction, but always inviting us to immerse ourselves in them.
With a soft color palette, Dulk creates a dreamlike narrative scenario full of characters, which at first sight conveys beauty and calm, but that will lead us to a deeper meaning in the following observations.
For Dulk, the fact that an artist captures an idea is a challenge, so he thinks that “all the materials used play a fundamental role in creating a work.” He usually uses a very soft, very pastel chromatic range, he likes the tones that are seen in the environment and that are not very saturated, that helps him to create the whole atmosphere of the work.
