Since mid-2023, Colart teams have been delivering projects faster, with more focus and less friction thanks to a new way of working known as The Colart Way to Manage Projects. Led by the Development Team, this custom-built agile methodology is designed to work for real-world business teams across all departments at Colart, and not just project management professionals.

It’s now in use across Ecommerce, Brand, Development, and more recently, within Finance projects with teams either collaborating with Development Team Project Managers or independently managing their own cross-functional projects using the same approach.

 

What Makes The Colart Way Different?

While inspired by agile principles, The Colart Way is not software-specific, and it’s not tied to any one tool or platform. Whether a team uses Monday.com, Excel, or Kostango, the method works by focusing on what needs to be captured, not how.

  • Lean, Empowered Teams: A small, focused Delivery Squad drives the project forward — with autonomy to make day-to-day decisions.

  • Daily Stand-Ups & Regular Reviews: Encourages 15 minute long daily team meetings and regular timebox/sprint reviews to adapt priorities, stay aligned, and never be more than 24 hours out of the loop.
  • Top-Priority Focus: Success relies on the project being the primary focus for the core team — not one of a dozen that move slowly towards completion.
