Liquitex art in the city of Paris

A Partnership with the Fine Arts School of Paris & Parcours Saint Germain Exhibit.

In June, Colart France and Liquitex brand has sponsored sixteen art students from Stéphane Calais‘ Studio at the Beaux-Arts of Paris. Students were invited by the Parcours Saint Germain Exhibit to paint on the booksellers’ booths along the Seine River, in Paris’ chic St. Germain fashion & arts district.

Using Liquitex Basic paint, markers, mediums, and brushes, the students created different art pieces.

The project, created by students, supported the booksellers impacted by the pandemic, lockdowns, lack of tourists, and social interactions. Students attracted attention to these emblematic book boxes, encouraging a return of commerce along the Seine.

Future actions

Liquitex will feature the content on the Special Projects page of the website. Production is underway on a film of the project, including artist product testimonials.

Stay tuned: the film will be shared in the upcoming Liquitex Basics campaign.
