The Consumer Care Team has recently launched a new knowledge base designed to provide technical information on its products and painting techniques. The Colart Knowledge Base is a significant achievement as it allows for the easy capture and preservation of this information, making it accessible to everyone. The website can be accessed through the link https://answers.colart.com/ and includes questions and answers organised under brand, product categories, and hashtags for easy navigation.
The Knowledge Base is the result of a two-year project involving different teams from Consumer Care, Development, Technical Centre of Excellence, Brand, and others, who all played a part in its creation. The questions available on the Knowledge Base are a result of actual questions from consumers, while the solutions were developed by our Technical Centre of Excellence. The website allows users to request new articles or edit existing ones, making it a valuable tool for anyone interested in our brand’s products and painting techniques.
The Colart Knowledge Base can also be used as training material on products and painting techniques, included on brand websites as frequently asked questions (FAQs), or shared with sales teams as supporting documents for customers.
Creating the knowledge base was challenging due to the large amount of content available. Still, the team managed to provide an example of the content, identifying the need for extra functions such as requesting new articles and monitoring usage to measure the success of the platform.
