Snazaroo’s Successful Photoshoot Sets Stage for Exciting Campaigns

After months of hard work and dedication from the SNAZAROO immediate and extended teams, we have achieved remarkable results that will help us to grow the brand and grow household penetration, through enabling our local regions.  We would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone involved for their support.

 SNAZAROO underwent a strategic refocus in 2022, with a special emphasis on children under 10 and our mission to ensure that every household with a child in this age group has a SNAZAROO kit. This focus has allowed us to gradually develop comprehensive plans and campaigns, that will allow our local markets to have longer lead times for discussions and thus higher chances of successful negotiations with retailers and channel contacts.

In March 2023, we held a photoshoot at Elephant West that proved to be a pivotal moment for our brand. It resulted in a multitude of essential assets that not only facilitated the delivery of our Summer 2023 and Halloween 2023 communications campaigns to local regions, but also allowed us to prepare for campaigns in Summer 2024, 13 months early and Halloween 2024, 18 months early. This remarkable achievement will provide our regions with ample time for strategic planning and effective retailer negotiations, helping to ensure the success of our future endeavors.

Having such long lead times is a first and the SNAZAROO brand is proud to have achieved this.  It was made possible by the exceptional hard work, flexibility, and commitment of each and every team member involved. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your relentless efforts and unwavering support, which have played an instrumental role in reaching this milestone.

We attribute this success to having a well-defined strategy, positioning, and target audience in place since 2022. These foundational elements have been the cornerstone of our brand and will continue to guide us in the coming years. They have allowed us to lay the groundwork for the right plans from last year, gradually bringing our timelines forward and ensuring our campaigns align seamlessly with our long-term objectives.

For those who have not yet experienced a photoshoot, it is a bustling and energetic environment, filled with various professionals such as photographers, photographers' assistants, child models, chaperones, face painters, and more. The days leading up to the shoot involve meticulous preparation, ensuring the lighting and overall environment create a comfortable and safe space for our child models to have fun and truly embody the spirit of SNAZAROO.

  1. Fantastic achievement by all involved. Photo shoots require a lot of planning, coordination, and effort. There are many moving parts (literally, when children are involved!) to consider, and the days go on longer than expected – but the end results are satisfying when you know you’ve “got that shot”. Having done my fair share of these in a previous life – and now again with Colart – I applaud the teams for their hard work and dedication. These assets should make for a great addition to our library of resources, and boost the unique personality of the brand as campaigns are implemented. Well done!
