Enzo Certa and his colourful world
Enzo Certa is a French artist, best known for his large-scale, figurative oil paintings depicting detailed, imagined scenes inspired by history and the Old Masters. Born in Bordeaux in 1989, Enzo is currently based in Paris. A graduate of the Fine Arts School of Paris (École Nationale supérieure des beaux-arts, 2019)
He first collaborated with Colart as an invited artist for the Lefranc Bourgeois oil relaunch event in 2017, then as a student of Tim Eitel’s studio, which received the Lefranc Bourgeois fine arts technical and scientific support bursary in 2017-2018. In 2019, Enzo was granted the Lefranc Bourgeois summer residency at Head Office, where he experimented with oil paints, mediums, and Flashe paint. Since, Enzo has been awarded the Rubis Patrons Prize for his artwork on the nativity, with a solo exhibition at the St. Eustache Church of Paris.
