Story of Tianjin Civilization Unit Award at CTAM 天津柯雅荣获“天津市文明单位”称号的历程

Since 2018, and aligned with the Colart community day programme, there have been increased volunteers servicing charities in the local community near CTAM. The most long-lasting volunteer service was the training for children whose parents are rural workers. These parents typically have little time or money to provide further education courses, i.e. Art, Mental Health, English, History, Safety, Writing etc.

Some of our CTAM volunteers had suitable skillsets to teach these children. They collaborated with art schools and undertook
teaching duties every two weeks for free. Sustainability ambassadors also supported the teaching.

The Jia Ling community recognised the volunteer activity carried out by volunteer workers. By the end of 2019, the local community had recommended that CTAM participate in the award selection.

自2018年，逐步开始实施柯雅社会服务小时的公益理念，天津柯雅向所在社区提供了很多的志愿者服务，其中持续最长的志愿服务是为所在嘉陵道社区的来津务工人员的子女提供免费的多元化课程，因为他们大部分由于工作原因没有更多的时间陪伴孩子以及经济条件有限无法为孩子报名课外课程。天津柯雅有相关技能的员工志愿者和柯雅美术教育机构客户的老师们组成教师团队为这些孩子提供每两周一次的丰富多彩的课程，包括绘画、英语、心理健康、历史、安全以及写作等。2019年底，天津市嘉陵道社区推荐天津柯雅参加市级文明单位的评选。

Aspects that contributed to the evaluation of this award included: CTAM’s Communist Party building, Labor Union, social responsibility, public welfare/charity, culture and health creation, epidemic prevention and control, employee wellbeing, and sustainability. The audits involved application reports submission with verified photos, written procedure compliance， on-site plant tour etc.

市级文明单位的评选考察主要包括这些方面工作的绩效表现：公司党建工作、工会管理、社会责任、公益活动、创文创卫、疫情防控，员工活动以及可持续发展等。评估程序包括，提交图文并茂的申请书面报告，对公司相关程序文件的审核以及现场工厂直观巡视审核。

2018年以来天津柯雅在文明建设方面所作出主要成绩：

During the unveiling ceremony, Mr Qiang Liu (chairman of Longxing group, vice chairman of CTAM) and Ms Ying Tang (Secretary of the Party branch of Tianjin art pigment factory, director of CTAM) attended the listing and unveiling ceremony of this civilisation unit. Mr Liu made a speech before the unveiling, congratulating CTAM on its achievements. He encouraged the CTAM team to continuously develop to ensure we fulfil our social responsibilities. After that, Mr Liu and Hunter Zhang, General manager of CTAM, unveiled the award plaque.

The leaders also issued incentive gifts to CTAM sustainability ambassadors, canteen management personnel, EHS personnel, HR&Admin personnel and trade union personnel, who all contributed to this award.

2022年5月天津柯雅最终正式被天津精神文明建设委员会评为“天津市文明单位” 。这个荣誉是对天津柯雅的高度认可。隆兴集团 董事长，天津柯雅 副董事长 刘强先生、天津美术颜料厂 党支部书记，天津柯雅董事唐颖女士莅临了文明单位的挂牌揭幕仪式，刘董事长在揭幕前进行了讲话，对天津柯雅取得这样的成绩表示祝贺，并希望柯雅再接再厉更好的履行社会责任持续发展。之后刘董与天津柯雅总经理 张慧廷先生一起为天津柯雅市级文明单位挂牌揭幕。同时，领导们还为天津柯雅的可持续发展大使、食堂管理人员，EHS人员、人力行政人员以及工会人员颁发了激励奖品。
