This year our work has not only improved internal processes throughout the business. We have also made our customers happier by improving their experience of Colart. The team have delivered high-quality solutions, enhancing our operational efficiency and capabilities. This consistent delivery of high-caliber work has yielded a significant impact on our overall business.

Industry Solutions

The Industry Solutions team is dedicated to developing, implementing, and managing IoT (internet of things) technologies tailored to the specific needs of the manufacturing and Warehouse management sectors. Their role is to leverage the capabilities of IoT to enhance operational efficiency, improve production processes and optimise warehouse management. In essence, an Industry Solutions Team dedicated to IoT for manufacturing and warehousing is integral in bridging the gap between the traditional operational practices and modern technological innovations. They play a critical role in transforming these industries through smart technologies, leading to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved overall performance.

IT China

The IT Team in China play crucial role in managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure, which includes hardware, software, and network systems. Team also supports M3 for China as well as being responsible for ensuring that all technology-related systems function smoothly and efficiently within China. The team is the backbone for Technology in China and collaborate heavily with the other technology teams to make sure group solutions are provided within China.

Development

The Development team is primarily responsible for project management, design, construction, and coding of software applications and systems. This is integral to the overall process of creating, developing, maintaining, and implementing software within the Technology department. The team combines technical expertise with problem-solving acumen and creativity to craft software solutions that not only fulfil user requirements but also contribute to the strategic objectives and value proposition of the business.

Technical Operations

A Technical Operations team, often referred to as TechOps, is responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of managing and maintaining the technical infrastructure for Colart. They ensure the IT systems are efficient, reliable, and secure. In essence the Technical Operations team ensures that the technology backbone of Colart runs smoothly and efficiently, supports business operations, and adapts to the changing needs of the organisation. Their role is critical in minimising downtime, improving system performance, and ensuring that that technology-related risks are managed effectively.

Applications & BI Analytics

The Application and Bi Analytics team is a specialised team in the group in maintaining the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) M3 and in analysing, interpreting complex data to aid in decision-making and strategic planning. The M3 team play pivotal role in ensuring that M3 is efficient and aligned with Colart goals for manufacturing, costing, planning and financial controls. Bi Analytics team uses a variety of tools and techniques to turn raw data into meaningful insights that can drive business improvements. The team provides pivotal role in helping Colart to drive growth and competitiveness.

Development

In Q3 2025 Danny Morgan joined us to lead on all Shopify migrations and ongoing D2C development. Vincent Varghese is covering Shima Ehsani while she's on Maternity Leave and will be with us until January 2026, covering B2B, Colart websites and The Bank 3.0. 

Applications & BI Analytics

We welcomed Florence Augusto (ERP Specialist) in 2024, she is responsible for Accounts payable, Fixed assets, Automatic Banking System, Tax management non-EU, Warehousing, and Purchase and Distribution.
