This is Our Creative Movement: This is Our Colart Manifesto.
In today's town hall meeting, we launched the new Colart Manifesto. Joined by guest speakers including Clemence Blanc, Harsa Beagley, Jo Sass, Jonny Meghames, and Steve Chamberlian, we embarked on a journey to define our vision.
Romain began with a business update, reviewing our progress in 2024 so far. While we've encountered a few minor setbacks, overall, we're staying true to our plans. Sales are looking good, margins are exceeding expectations, and our recent presence at the Creativation by Namta fair showcased our commitment to innovation and strong relationships with retailers.
However, the highlight of the meeting was undoubtedly the unveiling of our Manifesto. Serving as a roadmap for our values and aspirations, it underscores our focus on sustainability and innovation. With the appointment of Sara Brennan as our new Chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer, we're doubling down on our commitment to be the leading house of sustainable creative brands.
Following the reveal, Romain engaged in a discussion with our guest presenters about what the Manifesto means for each of us. From sharing personal anecdotes to brainstorming practical ways to integrate its principles into our daily practices, the conversation was both insightful and engaging. As we wrapped up, we reflected on our alignment with the Manifesto's values, reaffirming our collective commitment to its guiding principles.
With our Manifesto guiding our actions, we're poised to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead. It's more than just a document—it's a blueprint for our collective future. And as members of the Colart team, each of us plays a vital role in bringing it to life.
