Download PDFOn Friday 2nd July, we held the fortnightly Town Hall meeting hosted by CEO Dennis van Schie.
Dennis started the session by sharing his most recent inspirations. Firstly, he spoke about how our brands continue to inspire by providing an example from an Instagram story by Winsor & Newton ambassador Eudes Correia. Dennis was also inspired by the latest Snazaroo newsletter, “Pride just got more colourful”, which he linked to the importance of supporting the LGTBIQ+ community and work together to achieve an equal and inclusive world.

Dennis provided us with his regular COVID update, reminding us to still care and be aware of the Covid regulations in different countries, especially when and if we decide to travel this summer.
Dennis’s business update highlighted a second month in a row where we haven’t reached the target. The main three reasons are the increased cost of raw materials, transportation costs, and the disadvantageous currency effects.
Our guests this week included Global Brand Director – Winsor & Newton, Isabelle Ottiger and Resident Artist – Global Fine Art Collective, Stephanie Nebbia.
We all miss travelling; however, this presentation took us on an exciting journey, starting with Stephanie, who explained Winsor & Newton history from past to present. The virtual journey did not stop there, Isabelle talked about the most recent innovations and collaborations coming out of Winsor & Newton.
