Town Hall Meeting – Watch the video

July 30, 2021 | Uncategorized |

On Friday 30th July, we held the fortnightly Town Hall meeting hosted by CEO Dennis van Schie. Consider that this was the last Town Hall Meeting before September. Like Dennis said at the beginning of the meeting, we do this because we want to be connected and transparent. See you on September 3rd.

Inspire by the Olympic Games in Japan, Dennis started the session by sharing his most recent inspirations. Firstly, he recommended a documentary, “Jiro Dreams of Sushi”, a film that talks about work progression, perfection and hard work. His second inspiration was a post on the Wall made by Jatin, “finding your IKIGAI”.  IKIGAI is a concept born in Japan that talks about finding your purpose in life.

Dennis provided us with the regular COVID and business updates. Even if things are getting better, or at least it looks like we are overcoming the situation step by step, cases still growing. At Colart, we have a few cases and some contact cases. Take care, follow the rules and be conscious when you return to work.

Talking about business, he did a short recap about the monthly performance review that happened last week.

The special topic:

This THM has been a different one. Testing a new format, our Chief People Officer, Jane Beeston, brought up the topic “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” through a very open and honest conversation with Jimmy Leslie, Kim Stylides, Usha V. Raghavan and Jon Holland. Thank you to all the speakers for such an inspiring talk. If you want to see where Colart is going on this topic and how the future looks, please watch the THM and give us your feedback.

Every THM we see more and more comments like the ones below.
