Town Hall Takeover – Friday 30th June
This was a townhall with a twist where the concept of a Townhall Takeover was presented.
THM and Townhall Takeovers
Recognising the value of quality over quantity, as well as the time and resources required to produce a fortnightly townhall meeting, we have decided to transition to monthly sessions. However, we also acknowledge that you may have something to say in between these month-long intervals. This is where Townhall Takeovers come into action. We envision these sessions as informal, in-conversation style meetings, similar to lunch and learn sessions, providing a platform to share information. There will be minimal production involved, meaning no PowerPoint presentations or videos, and no requirement for IT or Comms support. These sessions will be scheduled in the weeks between our formal townhall meetings. The success of these sessions relies on the active participation of those who wish to contribute.
We are currently working on support guides and templates, which will be published in the coming weeks along with the new monthly Town Hall meeting schedule.
For now, the next meeting is scheduled for Friday, July 21st. As in previous years, there will be no formal town hall meetings in August.
New Look Intranet Re-launch
This takeover also marked the day we unveiled the re-launch of our intranet with a fresh new design. Our aim is to provide you with the information and resources you need throughout your journey at Colart, ensuring your success. The new "mega menu" allows you to access the entire people cycle through a drop-down, providing a visual representation of the information you may be seeking. We have also added more content, hoping that this will encourage you to engage and connect more frequently.
We understand that this project is an evolving one, and we encourage you to share your thoughts on what works, what doesn't, and what you would like to see more or less of. Your feedback is always valued.
