UK Marketing Team Restructuring
Dear all,
Following the announcement earlier this year regarding the merging of the UK Head of Marketing and Snazaroo Brand Director roles, I have several team updates to share.
Firstly, as some of you are aware, Martin Waller has been dealing with serious health issues for almost three years now. After 37 years of dedicated service, Martin will be leaving the business on January 1st. We are incredibly grateful for Martin’s longstanding contribution and commitment to the company. There will be a separate announcement honouring Martin's time with us.
Tracy Chalkley, Senior Brand Manager for Snazaroo, has decided to leave the business. Tracy’s last working day will be December 19th. I would like to sincerely thank Tracy for her hard work and dedication to the Snazaroo brand during her time with us. We are currently recruiting for a Brand Manager to oversee the Snazaroo brand on a day-to-day basis and hope to have news to share on this soon.
Looking ahead, I’m pleased to announce the following team changes and promotions:
-
Steph Nebbia has taken on a hybrid role, dividing her time equally between the UK and Winsor & Newton. As Resident Artist - Education, Artist Engagement & Partnerships, Steph will continue to support the UK team, with particular emphasis on retailer training, for two days a week. As part of this move, Steph now has a dotted reporting line to Holly Shires, Winsor & Newton Global Senior Creative Content Manager, for the other two days a week. Holly Shires: "When working with the brand team, Steph will bring an authentic artist-to-artist voice, and support on how we work with artists and partners going forward. Her exceptional knowledge and love of the brand and its materials will also help strengthen the W&N communications. It will also give a global platform to some of the amazing work Steph is already doing with the UK marketing team."

In recognition of her outstanding work, Francheska Liberman has been promoted to Senior Marketing Manager. Francheska will continue to champion the Winsor & Newton brand and manage the marketing relationship with key strategic accounts, including Cass Art and Hobbycraft. She will also support Snazaroo’s growth by providing digital strategy guidance, and her previous experience working on the brand will be incredibly valuable within the hybrid UK and Snazaroo marketing team. As my own role is now hybrid, Francheska provides invaluable support to me as well as great guidance to the rest of the team.
-
Victoria Saplaoura has been promoted to Trade Marketing Manager. Since joining us as an intern in 2021, Victoria has demonstrated tremendous growth. Viktoria will continue to manage the marketing side for the Fine Art independent channel and be the brand champion for Reeves. Additionally, she will manage Snazaroo’s digital communications calendar, including social media and marketing web updates and become the brand champion for our French brands Lefranc Bourgeois and Conte à Paris.
-
From the start of next year,, Eden Cook-Watson will be moving to the Liquitex brand team as Brand Manager, reporting to Christina Yoder. He will support Christina with portfolio management, helping to grow the brand outside of NA. Eden will still be based at the London Hub and will continue to lead Liquitex activations for the UK team. Congratulations to Eden on his promotion.
-
Corina Sartori completes the team as Trade Marketing Manager for the UK, and we are delighted that she is now a permanent member of the team. Corina manages marketing for our mass channel accounts. She is also our merchandising champion and Snazaroo brand champion, acting as the local market voice for Snazaroo. Corina brings great energy, a can-do attitude and is a vital part of the team.
Please join me in thanking Martin for his incredible contribution and wishing him all the best for the future. Let’s recognise Tracy for all she has done for the Snazaroo brand. And let’s congratulate Steph, Francheska, Viktoria, and Eden on their new roles and continued success. I would also like to extend my personal thanks to Corina for her tireless efforts and ongoing contributions to the team's success.
Warm regards
Charlotte Caton
UK & Snazaroo Brand Director

Dear UK Team friends, congratulations to all of you on your promotions. All very well deserved 🙂 Best of luck in continuing to be the wonderful & inspiring Marketing Team that you are 🙂 And Eden, looking forward to working on Liquitex projects together.
Hi Charlotte
Firstly, super congrats to you in defining and shaping a UK Marketing and Snazaroo brand team that enables us to deliver against the RGF, BCG and Perform 30 imperatives. You have built a strong team with a great work ethic.
I would like to echo your words of thanks and appreciation to Martin. We are hopeful that he will be able to visit the office so we can see and thank him in person for his 37 years of dedication and service to the Colart organisation. We will keep you posted on this.
I would also like to thank Tracy for her contribution to the Snazaroo brand and her time with the UK team. All of this is much appreciated, and we wish her every success for her future.
So then to Steph, Francheska, Victoria, Corina and Eden…..each of you have made and continue to make a valuable contribution to the business. I am delighted that through Colart we have enabled personal growth for each of you to flourish and thrive.
Congratulations to you all.
Best, Anthony
I really just have to echo Anthony’s words. Charlotte, it truly sounds like you are building for the future, and well done to you for navigating these changes. At the same time it is great to see people grow and move into new roles, including you Charlotte, whether that be inside or outside of Colart. Please do also pass on my positive thoughts and thanks to Martin for his service and dedication.
