WINSOR AND NEWTON ROYAL WARRANT UPDATES

In 1841, Winsor & Newton was granted its first Royal Warrant by Queen Victoria.
Today, we are proud to continue this legacy as the chosen supplier of the finest art materials to His Majesty King Charles III’s household.
With Prince Charles becoming King, we undertook the task of updating all packaging to reflect the new Royal Warrant.

➡️797 finished goods
➡️14 POS merchandise items
➡️15 online only materials (booklets, charts, etc.)
A decision was made to apply the new Royal Warrant only to our professional ranges, while the old Warrant was removed from all other packaging. In accordance with Canadian regulations, the Warrant text appears in both English and French on all products sold in Canada.
This update spanned multiple ranges, including Cotman Watercolours, Professional Watercolours, paper, canvas, and more.
Where possible, this project was aligned with other initiatives such as supplier changes to streamline efforts. As of now, all packaging has been brought up to date.
Below are examples of packaging before and after the update.
If you come across any older artwork that may have been missed, or if there is packaging created for local markets that requires this update, please let us know.
