Instead of paper business cards, use digital business cards. Each business employee in all companies owns a mobile phone, which they can store a business card and automatically add the new details to their contacts.
The Why
Sustainability and people loose business cards and forget to add the information from the card to their electronic format i.e. diary, mobile, contacts.
The How
Create templates and buy an app.
I haven’t had a paper business card in over 5 years but welcome the idea of a digital template.
I have a digital business card for years already. But unfortunately I need printed ones as well for official tax, legal institutes. Funny enough mainly for French institutes, for which we even had to purchase corporate rubber stamps. Good things is that we can use all of it in Poland and Germany as well. They like the SE/Macaron-i model: stamps, seals, parchment and pigeons…
To make it even worse: I have 3 versions of printed business cards with different job titles, as I need to sign/confirm in the right legal way.
We have the United Nations. But the nations are not united.. Which becomes horribly visible in UKR. But this has nothing to do with our ambition to go more digital.
I would welcome a digital template and an easy way to create a business card. I’ve got some old ones but, apart from my name and the company’s, all details have changed and I do struggle at networking events to give people contact details.
