The What
Implement a global and integrated collaborative digital sourcing platform where any Colart employees of various activity sectors (IT/finance/marketing/logistics/etc..) can make a contribution to capture products innovation and/or potential suppliers that could meet during a fair/conference/visit of shop/social media/etc….
Therefore, stakeholders and procurement teams will be able to use this relevant database for Colart sourcing and/or benchmarks.
The Why
An important part of the way to do business is to be able to capture innovation and any potential new suppliers in real time taking into account new Post-Covid constraints (travel reduction).
We will be more agile and improve our time to market for launch of new products/services. It will also allow to decompartmentalize procurement function sharing information and connecting buyer to their internal/external stakeholders in order to increase cooperation an collaboration.
For this idea to be a success, we need IT support to create a new program to install on Colart computers.
The How
The proposal would be to develop a tool with specific software and/or Jira and/or think tank technology, which could also be a basis for as Supplier Relationship Management tool going forward.
I love this idea Gregory and think it would be useful. I often see things (products/services/collaborations) that I believe could be something for consideration but because there isn’t a “go to” place for such ideas they get forgotten.
Whilst the Think Tank could be seen as the platform for lodging such ideas having a purposeful platform that is owned by the relevant function i.e. procurement could be a better solution.
Great idea Grégory, very constructive approach to capture and also share ideas for projects.
This is a very good idea , to have every one looking around for new ideas, suppliers or innovation. More than 2 000 eyes watching around the world should give an extended 360 degrees view of our market !
