implement an IT solution to allow at each people to be able to communicate to the managers about its needs (material, improvement, necessary repairs etc…). Thereby, managers will be able to use this database to be sure that all demands was done and action was executed or programed.
The Why
This will avoid a lot of misunderstandings and will improve information flow.
if each actions done more quickly, working conditions will be better for everyone and we will have a positive effect on the work’s quality.
For this idea to be a success, we need IT support to create a new program to install on workshops computers. We would like the same program type than JIRA for example.
The How
I contacted Claudio to know it would be possible to have a support in Le Mans with IT to make the specifications and try to create this together.
Today the priority is Vanilla but maybe it will be possible at the beginning of the next year to work on this.
After STAM I’m sure that is a good support for the communication too.
What a great idea to extend the principle of Jira to the production area – if the idea is accepted, would the thinking be to test first with say maintenance needs before extending to cover other dimensions?
For maintenance needs, we have already a GMAO system. I think rather about everyday needs that are not priorities and are forgotten.
If all the littles things are followed, realized and measured, I’m sure the atmosphere will be improve in the workshops. Everything goes through communication and Jira will help to have a better communication
