The What

Whatever our role in the company, we are all sharing a same tool : OUTLOOK to manage our mails. Fiding an information in the the big list of emails reveived can sometimes be complex and time consuming. Let's share through videos our best pratices and tips to make the management of our mail box easier and more efficient.

The Why

Receiving an average of 50 useful emails per day (after cleaning the useless ones) means that at the end of the year, it will be more than 10 000 emails that will be in our mail box. The purpose of emails is mainly to share data, decisions, informations. Therefore, being able to find back any email within less that 15s would be very helpful. We have all developed some "strategies" to manage this, with more or less results, so the idea is to share our best practices, tips, way to parameter the mail box.

The How

By creating short videos (less than 2 mn), recording our voice and the content of the screen, this videos could be uploaded in the Colart Academy site to be accessible widely by colart's employees. The perfect tool for this is OBS studio ( a tutorial on our to use it exists yet on colart academy : https://intranet-old.colart.com/en/courses/how-to-produce-elearning-videos/ ). Then, each one feeding each other with its best practices, it would help everyone in his journey on personnal continuous improvement. That kind of content exist yet on social video platform for excel i.e, let's do the same for outlook, on our internal social media :-)
