The What

Journaling is an extremely popular activity that blends mindfulness with creativity. The official Bullet Journaling YouTube channel has 389K subscribers, as a snapshot of its popularity. In times of increasing stress, many people use journaling as a way to organise, express and soothe themselves. I regularly use Cotman Watercolours, Fineliners, and the Graphic Art Coloured Pencil sets on my own bullet journal for a variety of purposes. Although the original Promarkers are too heavily pigmented and tend to bleed through a lot of paper types, the Watercolour Promarkers can also be used on most journals without bleeding through. I believe there is an opportunity to create an advertising or communication campaign around journaling, using existing WN products. The new Promarker Mixed Lettering Set is a great example of a product that this campaign could promote. There may also be opportunities with our retailers, as many (eg, London Graphics Center) also sell journals on site and may be open to bundling offers

The Why

Journaling is seen by many as an act of self care, especially while the daily stresses most people face are only increasing. This may encourage new customers who may find starting as a new artist intimidating, who may then branch out and explore other products. As it is using existing products that are already suitable, there are no additional manufacturing costs, only promotional

The How

Create some inspirational or instructional assets (videos, photos, step by step guides, etc) that can be shared on social media and email communications. Possibly collaborate with an artist/influencer who is well know for journaling, or send some samples to similar influencers to try out.
