M3 implementation in Lowestoft

It is with pleasure that we congratulate the Lowestoft team, who, with Systems support, have reached a key milestone by implementing M3 into the business unit. This marks another critical phase in the rollout of M3 to the business, with the final step being in China.

M3 is an Enterprise Resource Planning system, which means it leverages technology for manufacturing, distribution, and financial controls as a single source of information. As a multi-site, multi-company, multicounty, multicurrency and multi-language environment, M3 provides the ideal capability to support our business needs. The platform informs better decision-making by leveraging data enabling better planning and inventory management.

M3 is now “live” and used by everybody at Lowestoft, allowing stronger collaboration and information sharing with colleagues from other sites.

Last week concluded significant process testing, and this week attempted “business as usual” activities. Unforeseen tweaks may be made; however, these will be resolved over the days to come.

We are confident that M3 is embedded and flourishing within the business unit. The rollout has been an outstanding achievement involving strong collaboration to counter challenges faced. We are particularly proud of the effort and motivation to develop local M3 processes, skills and knowledge.

Thank you to everyone involved in the project. We are sure you will all join us in recognizing the team for their commitment and collective efforts in ensuring the project’s success.

Sanjay Marwaha,

Director of Systems
